In her speech, Ginite Popotte said:

"[...] Like many of you, live in Haiti 'mande fyèl'. But as a responsible person, we have the power to change the things of this world. I am one of those who believe that positive change is possible, that Haiti can be made liveable. I bet on the culture and the education, of 'bon zel kat'.

Receiving the Cultural Achievement Award and winning this year's TOYP Contest is an opportunity for me to share my work and vision with the world.

[...]

I share these awards with young people from marginalized neighborhoods and cities in remote provinces to inspire them to believe in work, education, conquer the world and exceed their limit.

Thank you to those who support in one way or another my achievements, my actions.

There is still a long way to go. I continue the journey and I am determined. And I repeat, the sustainable development of the country, is cultural.

Thank you for recognizing my work, thank you for your support, thank you to JCI Haiti, thank you to the members of the TOYP Commission, thank you to the members of the Jury.
