The trial of Clifford Brandt again suspended
On Tuesday, in the context of the trial of Clifford Brandt, judge Denis Pierre Michel of the Criminal Court of Gonaïves, decided to accede to the request of the Public Ministry concerning the hearing of the flrmer police inspector, Edner Comé, considered as a key element in the kidnapping of the two Moscosso children. The hearing has been suspended and will resume on January 15, 2019.

2,000 road accidents in 6 months
On Monday, the Haitian organization Technical and Operational Services for Accident (STOP-Accidents) revealed to have registered in partnership with the National Ambulance Center and the Haitian Red Cross, nearly 2,000 road accidents throughout the country for 6 last month of 2018 (June 2018 to January 6, 2019), which resulted in the death of 231 people.

Diaspora : Record of Transfers
The diaspora transfers to Haiti in 2018 reached a record $ 3.2 billion, or 37% of all wealth produced in the country. An amount that is 3 times higher than the country's exports, 10 times more than tourism revenue and double the state revenue.
