Haiti - Petit-Goâve : Support for the candidacy of Senator Sénatus, as new President of the Senate

While end this Monday, January 14, the term of the Senate Speaker, Senator Joseph Lambert and a new President will be elected to replace him, the Federation of "Youth Organizations" and "Organizations for the Defense of the Family" working at the level of the Region of Palmes supports the candidacy of Senator Jean Renel Sénatus aka "Zokiki" to the Presidency of the Senate.

Sunday at a press conference in Petit-Goâve, Dorvil Walter, coordinator of "Konbit Jèn Lidè Ayisyen", Joseph Réginald, President of "Inisyativ Sitwayen Pou Sove Fanmi yo", Maxilien Denis, coordinator of "òganizasyon Jèn Devwe Pou avansman", engineer Nazaire Pierre-Louis, coordinator of "Mouvman Jèn Pwogresis" asked other Senators to choose their colleague Sénatus as the new president of the Upper House.

They justified their position by citing, among other things, the positive results of the actions taken by Senator Sénatus at the head of the Justice, Defense and Security Commission, his proposals for legislation, his competence, his determination, his sense of responsibility, his conciliatory nature, his concern to defend the higher interests of the Nation, his stand in favor of the most deprived and his relations with all sectors of national life [...] affirming in conclusion "The youth sees in Sénatus a father responsible and a friend of sustainable change [...] Youth and the family support competence, change, will and morality, and we rely on each Senator's understanding."
