Haiti - Elections : Last report of tabulation before the results... 03/04/2011 18:42:41
It is quite possible that at the time we publish this news, the tabulation is completed or in the process to be completed in the coming hours. It is unlikely that the CEP issues a new report of tabulation before the publication of results as expected, tomorrow... Entire population in the country, as the Haitians living abroad, are now awaiting the preliminary results of the second round. Expectations are huge and the speculations and hypotheses are multiplying, without anyone knowing with certainty who will be the candidate winner of the second round. The latest rumors of fraud circulate on the streets of the capital, the discussions are lively and the tension almost palpable. Everyone hopes that whatever happens, the published result will be accepted, everyone expects ... but who really believes ? For the second round of presidential and legislative elections in Haiti, the progress in the process at the Vote Tabulation Centre (CTV) on April 2, 2011 at 2:47pm was the following: President: Total number of minutes : 11,182 Minutes processed (tabulation completed) : 9,340 (83.53%) Minutes in progress of treatment : 1,754 (15.69%) Minutes to receive : 88 (0.79%) Senator: Total number of minutes : 5,134 Minutes processed (tabulation completed) : 4,410 (85.90%) Minutes in progress of treatment : 651 (12.68%) Minutes to receive : 73 (1.42%) Deputy: Total number of minutes : 9,619 Minutes processed (tabulation completed) : 8,627 (89.69%) Minutes in progress of treatment : 900 (9.36%) Minutes to receive : 92 (0.96%) TOTAL of the Tabulation completed : 22,377 minutes (86.28%) TOTAL of the Tabulation in treatment : 3,305 minutes (12.74%) TOTAL of the minutes to receive : 253 minutes (0.98%) HL/ HaitiLibre
