AMOH: Mayor of Carrefour acclaimed

Friday, January 18 at the Town Hall of Delmas, the mayors of the 20 communes of the West Department meeting in General Assembly, have endorsed Jude Edouard Pierre Mayor of Carrefour for a new term at the head of the Association of Mayors of the West of Haiti (AMOH). Recall that Jude Edouard Pierre is also President of the National Federation of Mayors of Haiti (FENAMH) for more than two years.

Prestigious Haitian Music Award chosen Lyonel Benjamin

Saturday, January 19 at the Miramar Cultural Center in Florida, the 3rd Edition of Prestigious Haitian Music Award has chosen to put singer Lyonel Benjamin aka the "Haitian Santa Claus" author of "Se mwen abdenwèl", "Ou kite w ale" topping on the list of personalities to be honored for 2019.

Naming a road René Préval ?

As part of the 76th birthday of the late President René Garcia Préval (17 January) his wife shared some thoughts on social networks and suggested that the RN1 or RN3 be called "René Préval Highway". However, she does not intend to make a formal request to this effect to the Government.
