Sunday, February 17 in Port-au-Prince, 8 heavily armed men (5 US citizens, 2 Serbians and one Haitian), driving in 2 vehicles without a license plate, were arrested in the evening at a checkpoint of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) at the Rue des Césars, after the discovery of several weapons of war, military and unauthorized communication equipment.

Two professional drones, six automatic assault rifles, five Glock pistols, one 45-caliber pistol, a large quantity of ammunition, satellite phones, bullet-proof vests and five Haitian license plates, among others, were seized as well the two vehicles during the arrest, confirmed Inspector Gary Desrosiers, PNH Deputy Spokesperson.

The reason for the presence of these men heavily equipped with military equipment circulating in the center of the capital is unknown. "They refused to talk," Desrosiers said, adding that 7 of the 8 men were identified by their passport as : Kroeker Kent Leland (former Marine Corps Officer), Bajagic Danilo (Serb), Jankovic Vlad, Burton Talon, Christopher M. Osman, Dustin Daniel Porte and Estera Michael (Haitian), adding that "The Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) will take charge of them to deepen the interrogations" without giving further information on the possible motivation of this mysterious armed commando...
