Haiti - Politic : The Ministry of National Education launches a cry of alarm
Deeply worried by the loss of more than 7 days of class because of the serious socio-political events that Haiti is experiencing, the Ministry of National Education, launches a cry of alarm to all the actors indistinctly and to all the citizens for the resumption of school activities and the protection of the interests of our children and the school.

The Ministry recalls that education "is the most important investment for the future of our young people". Emphasizing that experts in the field confirm that education is a key factor for poverty reduction.

The Ministry calls for the mobilization of everyone to guarantee the fundamental right to the education of our children by allowing them to return to the path of school in peace. The future of our young people and the nation "Let's school out of politics and let's work together so that our children can have access to education in all circumstances."

The Ministry invites the Departmental Directors of Education (DDE), inspectors and school directors to make all the arrangements for the regular operation of schools, as of Monday, February 18, 2019.
