Haiti - FLASH : Air Canada suspends flights for 2 months between Montreal and Port-au-Prince

Following the Canadian Government's recommendation to its citizens to leave Haiti due to the civil unrest and numerous opposition anti-government demonstrations https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-26952-haiti-notice-canada-asks-its-citizens-to-leave-haiti.html it is now Air Canada airline that announced yesterday Wednesday, February 26 in a note, the temporary interruption of its two weekly flights (Monday and Wednesday) between Montreal and Port-au-Prince, for the next two months up to and including April 29 due to Haiti's crisis.

Air Canada Note :

"Due to the continuing civil unrest in Haiti, Air Canada's non-stop service between Montreal and Port-au-Prince, Haiti, is suspended until Monday, April 29, inclusive.

Customers who currently hold a reservation for a flight between Montreal and Haiti should contact Air Canada or the travel agency with which they purchased their ticket for information, including refunds and other travel options."<./>
