Haiti - Environment : Minister Jouthe in Kenya pleads for circular blue economy
At the head of a delegation of three people, Joseph Jouthe, the Minister of the Environment participates from 11 to 15 March 2019 in the 4th Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly taking place in Nairobi, Kenya (East Africa), around the theme : "Innovative Solutions for Environmental Challenges and Consumption and Sustainable Production".

During this summit, Minister Jouthe will continue his advocacy on topics related to the green economy and circular blue economy, promoting innovative solutions for the management of solid waste and plastics. He will also work on reducing the risks of major natural hazards, based on an approach based on natural ecosystems.

Remember that one call the green economy our current consumer society : production - consumption - waste, in a globalized world, based on taxes, quotas and profits. In contrast, the blue circular economy is defined as a local solution, creating jobs and above all more competitive than what we know today, based on the circular synergy : production - consumption - recycling - production.
