Haiti - Environment : Minister Jouthe in Kenya pleads for circular blue economy 12/03/2019 10:28:49
During this summit, Minister Jouthe will continue his advocacy on topics related to the green economy and circular blue economy, promoting innovative solutions for the management of solid waste and plastics. He will also work on reducing the risks of major natural hazards, based on an approach based on natural ecosystems. Remember that one call the green economy our current consumer society : production - consumption - waste, in a globalized world, based on taxes, quotas and profits. In contrast, the blue circular economy is defined as a local solution, creating jobs and above all more competitive than what we know today, based on the circular synergy : production - consumption - recycling - production. Learn more about the United Nations Environment Assembly : The Assembly meets every two years and brings together Ministers from all over the world to take action and agree on policies to support a healthy environment for the present and future generation.
