Thursday, March 21, President Jovenel Moïse left the country to Florida where he will be received Friday in Mar-a-Lago (Palm Beach) by the President of the United States Donald Trump https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27229-haiti-flash-donald-trump-will-receive-the-leader-of-haiti-in-mar-a-lago.html where he will discuss among other things cooperation in matters of security, fight against economic practices predators of China, Venezuela and investments...
Subsequently, Jovenel Moïse will participate in a mini-summit USA/Caribbean which will bring together in addition to Haiti, President Danilo Medina (Dominican Republic) and Prime Ministers Andrew Holness (Jamaica), Allen Chastanet (Saint Lucia) and Hubert Minnis (Bahamas), in which will be discussed governance, investments and foreign policy.
The Head of State will return to the country this Friday, March 22, 2019.
