Rehabilitation of the road of Dalles
Anna Lipchitz, the Director of the French Development Agency (AFD), accompanied by, among others, executives of the institution, representatives of the Ministry of Public Works, the National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation, the European Union and the Unit of Construction of Housing and Public Buildings has visited the rehabilitation works of the section of the road of Dalles, starting from Martissant 23 until the 1st Avenue Bolosse, falling under the Port-au-Prince Integrated Neighborhood Program : Martissant et Baillergeau (AIQIP). This project, funded by the EU and AFD and which requires a relocation of the water network along this route, will be implemented in partnership with several other public institutions.
Geographic Information Database
The Departmental Technical Coordinators of the Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC) took part in a workshop on the implementation of a Geographic Information database in order to improve the response mechanisms in case of crisis and of disaster. This activity was carried out under the project "Strengthening Disaster Preparedness and Management" funded by the Japanese Embassy in Haiti and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP-Haiti) in partnership with the DPC
