The low-cost airline, Spirit Airlines, will stop its direct link Fort Lauderdale - Cap Haitien from June 18 confirmed the media relations officer for Spirit Airlines.

Thus flights 3 times per week NK1057 FLL1235-1441CAP 319 246 and NK1058 CAP1541-1754FLL 319 246 of Spirit Airlines to Cap-Haitien will no longer allow travelers direct access to northern Haiti. The last flight of this service on Airbus A-319 is scheduled for 18 June. However, the airline will continue to service its daily Fort Lauderdale - Port-au-Prince route.
