On March 30, Chesnel Pierre, Director General of the National Office of Old Age Insurance (ONA) launched the first training session under the "ONA-Étudiants" (ONA-Students) program.

This first session will allow more than 1,000 young Haitian academics to benefit from the project of internship or socio-professional integration during a period of 3 months.

Remember that "ONA-Étudiants" is a project designed to help young academics to integrate more easily into the job market and also stop the brain drain to foreign countries, thus giving young people the chance to hope and to believe in their country.

Under this program, more than 2,000 young people from the country's ten geographic departments will benefit from an experience that can even serve as a stepping stone to long-term employment and prove to be equally important in their respective careers. Under the patronage of President Jovenel Moïse, this project is part of its overall vision that places young people at the heart of its priorities.
