Haiti - Social : «Jetair Caribbean» a new regional company will serve Haiti

The new airline "Jetair Caribbean" has purchased a regional aircraft Fokker F70 jet (speed 850/950km/h, autonomy 3,450km, 70 seats), with which it plans to start its commercial passenger flights from Curacao to the Dominican Republic , Haiti, Colombia, Trinidad and Jamaica from April 2019.

JetAir will initially operate under the license of "United Caribbean Airlines", an existing operator, while continuing the process of obtaining the appropriate Aeronautical Operator Certificate, in accordance with the requirements of local civil aviation authorities.

In addition, "Jetair Caribbean" has planned to add a second Fokker 70 aircraft in the course of April.

The airline will focus on the operation of direct lines between Curaçao and several destinations in the region, particularly those served by other airlines that are no longer present and which were generating strong demand from travelers.

Ticket sales are expected to begin soon and will be announced promptly to "Jetair Caribbean".
