Haiti - Cuba : The two brother countries will begin negotiations on migration
On Saturday, Luis Castillo Campos, Cuba's accredited Ambassador to Cuba, announced that the first round of talks on migration between the two countries will begin this week.

During the meetings, scheduled to start on Wednesday, April 10, migration relations and the negotiation process of the Memorandum on Migration between the two countries will be at the heart of the common agenda.

Discussions for the Cuban delegation will be chaired by Laura Pujol Torres, Deputy Director General of Consular Affairs and Cuban Residents at the Chancellery.

The document resulting from the negotiations between Cuba and Haiti will provide a legal framework for both ensuring legal and orderly migration between Cuba and Haiti, and for the fight against trafficking and smuggling of migrants.
