Haiti - DR : Two Haitian fugitives accused of murder, captured by the Dominican army
Members of the Dominican Army and the specialized inter-agency unit "Cerco Fronterizo" confirmed that they had arrested on the Dominican territory in Jimaní (Province Independencia), two Haitians accused of killing several people in Haiti who were actively sought by the Haitian authorities.

The arrest of Jackson Yaa (26 years old) and Yacki Bici (29 years old) is the result of intelligence work carried out by the Dominican army in coordination with the Haitian mayors of two border communes who were on the track of these criminals.

The Haitian detainees were taken to the "El Rodeo" fortress of the Army in Jimaní, before being handed over to the Haitian authorities at the Mal Paso binational border post to respond to their crimes in the Haitian courts.
