On Wednesday, as part of the FIFA U-17 World Cup qualifiers (World Brazil Brazil 2019) in the Confederation zone of North America, Central America and the Caribbean (CONCACAF), our Grenadiers in Group G, faced at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, in the 1/8 elimination round the Dominican Republic, which they eliminated [2-0], qualifying for the 1/4 final. Making their third win in as many games in the Group Stage with 12 goals scored and only one conceded.

A goal by Dominican defender Jimenez Garcia at 28' [1-0] and a goal by Fredler Christophe at 34' [2-0] (his 4th in the championship) were enough for the proteges of Webens Princima to cross this step.

After the Grenadiers Séniors in Germany (1974), the U-17 boys in South Korea (2007) and the U-20 girls in France (2018), the Haitian football is at one match of a fourth participation in a phase final of a FIFA World Cup.
