81,150 barrels of diesel arrived

Tuesday, May 7 in the evening, a new cargo of petroleum products arrived in the bay of Port-au-Prince, with on board 81,150 barrels of diesel for the account of various oil companies in Haiti.

Disability in the Nursing Science Curriculum

As a prelude to the International Nurse Day, May 12, the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) recalls that the Haitian State, through the Ministry of Public Health, introduced a module on disability in the curriculum of Nursing Sciences. Assises 2019 on Higher Education

Organized by the Ministry of National Education and the Conference of Rectors and Presidents of Haitian Universities (CORPUHA), in partnership with the University Agency of the Fancophonie (AUF), the "Assises 2019 on Higher Education" are held at the Marriott, from May 7th to 9th around the theme "Modernization of Higher Education in Haiti, Issues and Challenges of Governance". Several international specialists from Latin American, European and North American countries will take part in this summit on higher education in Haiti.

IACHR : A Haitian delegation in Kingston, Jamaica

Earlier this week, a Haitian delegation attended the 172nd session of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR) in Kingston, Jamaica. Ambassador Léon Charles accompanied by the Director of Political Affairs, career diplomat Williams Exantus took part in the high-level dialogue on the 2017-2021 strategic plan of the IACHR and inform the other members of the intention of Haiti to the El Salvador Protocol on Economic, Social, Cultural and Environmental Rights.
