Haiti - NOTICE : Opening of the scholarship campaign BRH / Haiti-France Friendship Group
The postgraduate (2nd cycle) scholarship program of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) / Haiti-France Friendship Group for the academic year 2019/2020 is open until May 31 2019.

These scholarships are aimed at students of very good level wishing to follow a Master 2 level university education in metropolitan France or in an overseas department. They are awarded on the basis of the file (criteria of academic excellence and social criteria). They will also be granted by theme.

For this year 2019-2020, the priority themes are : science, rural development, environment and sustainable development, health, education, new technologies and innovation, economy and management, banking-insurance.

General conditions of eligibility :

  • Be under 35 years of age on January 1st of the year of award;
  • Be of Haitian nationality and reside in Haiti;
  • Hold a university degree at least BAC + 4 or equivalent in the relevant field of study;
  • Not having received a scholarship or internship from the French Embassy in the previous three years.

Required documents :

  • 2019/2020 Scholarship application form duly completed and signed (Download the form : https://www.haitilibre.com/docs/formulaire_de_demande_de_bourses_d_etudes_2019-2020-vr.pdf
  • Certified photocopy of diplomas or certificates obtained (do not insert originals);
  • University transcripts;
  • Letter of motivation;
  • Detailed curriculum vitae;
  • Photocopy of the passport;
  • Letter of recommendation from a university professor and employer (if applicable) highlighting the merits of the process;
  • If you are already admitted to an M2 on May 31st (deadline for submission of applications): certificate of admission to initial training at the French University mentioning the dates of the beginning and end of the course.
  • "Studies in France" file number (the file must be submitted and paid for)

Important : you can file a scholarship file without the definitive authorization of registration of the university (but with documents proving your application for the training). The registration authorization will be requested if your application is accepted by the commission.

NOTE :
Since December 10, 2018, the procedure to apply for graduate studies in France is done entirely digitally. The Espace Campus France in Haiti has indeed integrated the procedure online at this address: https://pastel.diplomatie.gouv.fr/etudesenfrance/dyn/public/authentification/login.html From now on, all the students who wish to pursue their higher education in France, must submit their application via this website. This procedure is mandatory (except for sectors and institutions not connected to Campus France). Students who wish to register for a doctorate will have to inquire directly with the host universities about the registration procedures.
