Tuesday, May 21, the National Brewery of Haiti SA (BRANA) announced the signing of a partnership with the Haitian company Environmental Cleaning Solutions SA (ECSSA) to fight the scourge of plastic waste in Haiti in an approach environmentally friendly.

In keeping with this vision, BRANA is committed to shaping a future in Haiti without plastic waste (polyethylene terephthalate - PET), protecting the environment and creating jobs in communities.

This bipartite agreement aims to increase the collection of plastic bottle waste throughout the country, recycling, information sharing and the use of appropriate technologies.

In order to drastically reduce the impact of plastic waste on the environment, BRANA has defined a strategy for its used plastic bottles from a linear pattern (produce, consume and dispose), to a circular model : produce, consume, recycle and reuse.

In the coming years, BRANA will support ECSSA to ensure that the company's plastic bottles are collected and develop communication and public awareness campaigns to encourage awareness and participation in the collection of bottles for the recycling.

This partnership marks once again BRANA's commitment to fight against the pollution of plastic waste in Haiti. BRANA invites consumers, business partners and all employees to support this initiative.
