Haiti - News : Zapping... 02/06/2019 10:27:55 Saturday, late in the evening at Santo 22, Jean Luckner, an officer of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) who worked at the investigation office of the airport police station, was the target of unidentified individuals riding motorcycles for an unknown reason, as he returned from a mini-market. Deadly shot by several bullets, Jean Luckner died on the spot. United States Congress Delegation in Haiti The Office of the Protection of the Citizen received this week the visit of a delegation of the American Congress composed of personalities attached to the Committee of the Foreign Affairs. The exchanges focused on the general situation of Haiti and particularly on issues relating to the rule of law, democracy and human rights Arrest of a fake policeman During a routine check on the SOS road of Cap-Haitien, the North Police Department arrested an individual identified as Jean Luc Fleurissaint. On board the vehicle he was driving, the police found and seized a 22-caliber rifle, hoods, beacon, bulletproof vest, cartridges of various calibres and several knives. During the search of Fleurissaint's home, the police found, among other things : a shirt of the Corps of Brigades of Motorized Intervention (CBIM) of insignia of Agent 2 and a former uniform of the Corps of Intervention and Maintenance of Order (CIMO).
