Haiti - Gold Cup : All Grenadiers can not come to celebrate in Haiti but...

The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) warmly thanks the people of Haiti for their immense support during their recent participation in the 2019 Gold Cup in Costa Rica and the USA.

The Federation informs that due to the FIFA regulations on the provision of players to national teams, which require players to return to their club immediately after the end of their participation in international tournaments, the entire Grenadiers will not be able to come to Haiti celebrate with the population for the moment.

Most of the players, under license abroad, went to join their respective clubs with the exception of Wilde Donald Guerrier, who arrived in Haiti on Friday, July 5, while Steeven Sabbat arrived in the country the day before.

Several other members of our delegation including Djimy Bend Alexis, Duterson Clerveaux, Jean claude Josaphat, Wilner Etienne, Carlo Marcelin, Ernst Beauvais, Jhonny Michel will arrive in Haiti this Friday.

The FHF apologizes for not being able to accede to the wish of the population to welcome all the players immediately because of the regulatory constraints but "the Grenadiers promise and pledge to be complete with the Haitian people to the occasion of the return match against Curaçao on September 10th in the league of the Nations of First Division, at the Sylvio Cator National Stadium."
