Haiti - Security : The Grenadiers inspire Michel-Ange Gédéon

Monday morning, during the traditional Mass commemorating the 23 years of existence of the National Police Intervention Group (SWAT) Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) in his intervention, addressing the SWAT executives and agent declared :

Excerpt from Gédéon's intervention :

"[...] Stay professional ! Do not play the game of any politician, whether he is right or left. Your priority is Haiti. Your mission the safety of lives and property and your motto : loyalty, honor and trust. Swear on your honor to act with loyalty to earn the trust of your country and institution.

[...] If I had to contextualize my words, I would say to inspire you with the combativeness of our footballers 'the Grenadiers' who have just covered themselves with so much glory. If all Haitians could do like them, that goals would score on all grounds ! What victories we would win ! The rage to win for Haiti would be our only goal.

What a beautiful lesson !

SWAT officers and agents,

Happy Birthday ! Stay professional ! Stay apolitical ! Respekte dwa moun !"
