Taiwan qualify Haiti as a strong friend

On Saturday, the President of Taiwan (Republic of China) Tsai Ing-wen after a 4:30 am flash visit to Haiti, hailed Haiti qualifing the country as "a strong friend" while highlighting the partnership with this Caribbean ally on Economic, commercial and other cooperation, without announcing new projects or agreements, before leaving the country to Saint Kitts and Nevis, 2nd stage of her tour.

The Ministry of Education urges parents to file a complaint

Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, the Minister of National Education in front of the trend of schools to increase the costs of the school year said "You must refuse to pay fees to schools in order to reserve a place for your child. In case a school raises school fees no matter how, you must file a complaint." Paul Éronce Villard, the Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince, said he had already received more than a hundred complaints in one week and asked the institutions concerned to consult and comply with the law on school fees.
