Haiti - FLASH : The dangerous Gang Leader Arnel finally captured by the PNH !

Actively sought after, the dangerous and famous Gang Leader Arnel Joseph whose head was priced at 2 million Gourdes since November 2018 that had challenged the National Police of Haiti (PNH) to reach to arrest him https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27429-haiti-flash-arnel-challenges-the-pnh-to-reach-the-arrest-him.html was finally captured Monday, July 22, 2019 in the afternoon, by units of the South National Police.
The arrest took place at the hospital Lumière of Bonne-Fin, a few kilometers from the city of Les Cayes (South Dept.) Recall that for nearly a year, Arnel had managed to escape several operation of the PNH to capture him, and each time in retaliation he attacked police stations. However, under the pressure and the harassment of the police forces, he had to flee his territory of the village de Dieu with members of his Gang, to take refuge in the Artibonite in particular to Marchand Dessalines or he continued his criminal activities.
Arnel's arrest puts an end to more than a year of criminal activity by the country's most wanted and dangerous Gang Leader. Arnel is expected to be transferred shortly to Port-au-Prince for judicial follow-up according to the authority of the PNH.
