Dr. Claude Joseph, the new Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of Haiti near the Kingdom of Spain https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28062-haiti-news-zapping.html who wants to make Scientific and academic cooperation, the cornerstone of his mission, accompanied by Mrs. Marie Josèphe René, Advisor at the Embassy, met for the third time with officials of the University Rey Juan Carlos (URJC) including Pablo T Salvadores Alonso Head of International Relations Department of the International Relations Department of the URJC, about the opportunities open to young Haitian in university who wish to come to study in Spain as part of the "Erasmus Plus" scholarships.

It was a successful working session where it was agreed that at least 10 scholarships will be awarded, on a merit basis, to young Haitian in university for the academic year 2019-2020 (starting in January 2020). Follow-up with Haitian universities will be provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
