The National Office of Old-Age Insurance (ONA) informs us that on Tuesday, August 2, all employees of the Office received a 14th month salary, in addition to that of the current month, regularly transferred to their bank account every 15th of the month.

Employees, who were counting on this 14th month to solve a set of problems while the cost of living continues to increase, especially the back to school, welcomed this decision of the General Directorate.

"Our hope of a 14th month salary, which seemed like a utopia, given the current difficult situation in the country, has become a reality. ONA is one of the very few public institutions in the country to regularly pay their staff. Preparations for the new school year are now possible," said Anne Louise Valbrun, Inspector assigned to the Pétion-ville municipal office.

"Our results are good and the financial health of ONA is perfect," says ONA's Director General, Me Chesnel Pierre, who pays little heed to messages detrimental to his personal reputation, as well as to the institution, nor the defeatist speeches published all day long on social networks adding "My ultimate goal remains the satisfaction of the expectations and needs of my employees. I can only be happy when everyone has all the means necessary to tackle their respective tasks and fulfill their personal development at the level of their respective families. "

Remember that the payment by the employer of a 14th month to an employee is not subject to any legal obligation as well as bonuses and gratifications to employees that are granted according to availability.
