Haiti - Diplomacy : The Ambassador of Taiwan decorated by President Moïse 10/08/2019 09:32:10 Recall that Ambassador Hu Cheng-Hao who presented his credentials to President Moïse on June 7, 2017 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-21172-haiti-diplomacy-3-new-ambassadors-accredited.html , had spared no effort during his mission, his efforts to boost daily relations between the two countries. Ambassador Hu Cheng-Hao thanked President Moïse for this honor and said "I am touched by this decoration which is the expression, once again, of the depth of friendship and good understanding between our two country and our two peoples. This ceremony gives me the opportunity to evoke all the pleasure and all the satisfaction that I have tried to represent, Taiwan, the Republic of China, in a brother country like the Republic of Haiti." On the same day, Joseph Jouthe, the Minister of the Environment accompanied by Dwinel Bélizaire, Director of the National Observatory of the Environment and Vulnerability and Mrs. Guerline Pierre, Special Advisor to the Minister, made a visit of courtesy to Ambassador Cheng-hao Hu. In this circumstance, Minister Jouthe awarded a plaque of honor to the outgoing Ambassador of Taiwan, as a sign of gratitude and thanks for his commitment and exceptional support to the Haitian Government in general and the environment sector in particular. Ambassador Hu Cheng-Hao will be replaced in Haiti by his compatriot Bernard Liu who has already been Taiwan's Ambassador to Haiti (2010 to 2014). S/ HaitiLibre
