Ounaminthe : Two people killed by bullets

Saturday morning, the dead bodies of two people were found near the public square of Ouanaminthe (North-East), a young man in his thirties and a young woman of about twenty years Djeniflore Remilien aka "Vava" would be an aspiring police officer according to witnesses, both were shot dead for an unknown reason.

About thirty flooded families

Haiti to the Assembly of the Peoples of the Caribbean

From August 15 to 19, a dozen Haitian organizations will participate in the 8th edition of the Assembly of the Peoples of the Caribbean (APC) alongside 1,200 delegates from 23 countries. Several topics will be debated during this Assembly, among others : climate change, migration, colonialism and the global economy and their impact on the Caribbean countries. Haiti will address the topic of migration and the violation of the rights of Haitian citizens in several countries.

The ex PM Céant makes call to the collective conscience:

Friday as a prelude to the celebration of International Youth Day (12 August) the Youth Section of the party "Renmen Ayiti" organized its national forum. During his speech, the former Prime Minister Jean Henry Céant appealed to the "collective conscience" to rid the country of "scum" who prevent the development of Haiti.
