The Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH) and the Christian Blind Mission (CBM) launch a call for project proposals for organizations of/for people with disabilities and research institutions around accessibility and Inclusive Risk and Disaster Management.

Deadline for submission of proposals : October 31, 2019 at 4:00 pm.

Conditions to apply to a subsidy :

Being an organization of/for people with disabilities, a duly registered research institution, having directly prepared the proposal and taking care of the project management ie not just acting as an intermediary and having the documents officials, which may include :

• Copy of the certificate of recognition issued by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MAST), by the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities (MICT), by the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) or by the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE);

• Copy of the tax registration issued by the Directorate General of Taxes (DGI);

• Copy of a bank certificate or other document proving the holding of a bank account.

Types of projects involved (Sectors or themes) :

An organization may submit only one project under this call for proposals. The expected duration of the small projects to be funded under this initiative should not exceed 3 months from the date of the award. Projects must consist of activities for people with disabilities and related to:

• Accessibility as defined in Article 9 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities;

• Inclusive Management of Risks and Disasters.

• These projects can cover different activities such as: advocacy, advocacy, building exemplary models or creating innovative tools to make services accessible to people with disabilities.

Project that are not eligible :

• Projects solely or primarily for financing the participation of individuals in workshops, seminars, conferences or congresses;

• Projects solely or principally on individual scholarships for studies or training;

• Projects dealing only with the organization of training sessions and dialogue;
