On Monday at the National Palace, President Jovenel Moïse chaired a meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the extraordinary.

On the agenda of this Council included, among others: the back to school scheduled for 9 September, the hurricane season and insecurity especially in the metropolitan area.

It was for the Head of State, to take all the necessary measures to support parents in their efforts to facilitate the return of their children to school, strengthen the response mechanisms of the institutions concerned in case passage of possible bad weather on the country and to put out of state of harm the armed bands which terrorize and sow the mourning in the population.

The Ministry of Interior and Territorial Communities and the DPC are already mobilized for communication and pre-storm preparations.

In addition, with regard to the back to school, provisions are made at the level of the Ministries of Education, Justice and Public Security so that the back can be held in peace.
