Individuals who arbitrarily and illegally invaded spaces in the perimeters of the Olympic Center of Hope, located at the corner of National Road #1 and Route 9, installing trestles and building makeshift shelters in the largest Anarchy, in order to carry out economic activities, have made this public space unhealthy in addition to representing a source of insecurity.

Aware of the bad image offered by this space, which tends to receive foreign delegations from various countries, and in order to restore the communal authority, the Municipal Council of Croix-des-Bouquets has passed instructions to the relevant departments of the town hall to clean up the Olympic Center's environment.

In this sense, an awareness campaign asking people living in the perimeter of the Olympic Center of hope to leave the scene, was orchestrated during the last week.

Tuesday, August 27, several agents of the town hall, accompanied by the police and judicial authorities, proceeded to the sanitation of the area and destroyed or moved the trestles and makeshift facilities of the recalcitrant.
