Haiti - Economy : Arrival of 258,000 barrels of oil

Fils-Aimé Ignace Saint-Fleur, Director General of the Office of Monetization of Development Assistance Programs (BMPAD) confirmed the arrival yesterday Sunday, September 1 in the country of a cargo of 258,000 barrels of oil (kerosene, diesel and gasoline), part of which, 53,000 barrels, arrived Saturday.

Mr. Saint-Fleur specifies that the petroleum products that are already at the terminal of Thor, aboard the ship EVIE -PG, are divided into 40,000 barrels of diesel, 12,000 of gasoline and about 1,000 barrels of kerosene; As for Sunday's arrival, the ARTEMIS vessel will contain 205,000 barrels of petroleum products destined for Haiti: 100,000 barrels of diesel, 70,000 barrels of gasoline and 35,000 barrels of kerosene.
Also Fils-Aimé Ignace Saint-Fleur invites the population to calm and denying some rarity on the local market, according to him it was rather a rationing at the gas stations.
