Sunday around 2:00 pm in Peguy Ville (Commune of Pétion-ville), following an intelligence work with the population, an operation of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) led by the Chief Commissioner of Pétion-Ville, accompanied by two Justices of Peace, allowed to release a 15-year-old girl abducted and kidnapped (whose identity was not disclosed) and arrests one of the alleged abductors, identified as Junior Registre.

On the scene, the Police seized a firearm and ammunition, mobile phones, T-shirts with the shield of the PNH, money in Gourdes and in foreign currencies...

Acording to police source, Junior Registre could be involved in the murder of a foreigner recently committed on the road to the airport.

The victim of the abduction safe and sound was safely returned to her home.
