In a note, the Ministry of the Interior, "[...] questioned by the violent nature of certain hotbeds of protest and serious breaches of public order characterized by clashes with law enforcement, looting public and private property that has caused casualties in various parts of the territory expresses its sincere sympathy to all the families of the victims."

In addition, the Ministry of the Interior "invites the population to keep calm and to resume normally all its occupations" assures it that energetic measures are taken to guarantee the protection of people and goods.
