Wednesday afternoon, after a violent clash between anti-government protesters and police forces at the Airport Crossroad, throwing stones and other tear gas against tear gas grenades... unidentified individuals, resulting from this demonstration, fired the newly built TOTAL gas station between Delmas 17 and the airport road.

Fortunately, the rapid intervention of Delmas firefighters prevented the fire from spreading and caused a major incident in the area.

One of the station's pumps was damaged by fire, but fortunately equipped with modern security systems, the worst was avoided.
