According to our information, the National Association of Haitian Magistrates (ANAMAH) and the Superior Council of Judicial Power (CSPJ) would have opposed the choice of Me Torchon for legitimate suspicion, they ask for an investigation into the causes of the revocation of Torchon (which have never been revealed), by the Minister of Justice of the time Jean Renel Sanon, while he was at the head of the Parquet of Croix-des-Bouquets.

Jean Roudy Aly, the Minister of Justice has appointed Jacques Lafontant as new Commissioner of the Government and the jurisdiction of Port-au-Prince to replace Me Torchon. However, it seems that this new appointment of the former Deputy Government Commissioner at the Croix-des-Bouquet, is not unanimous, his career is not without flaws or blame...

For his part Inel Torchon says he is removed from office, but only pending the results of the investigation into his case...
