In addition, protesters were joined by armed individuals from Raboto a particularly sensitive locality... These individuals, some of whom brandished weapons of war (M1 and M4) marched in the streets of Gonaïves with the demonstrators, to demand the resignation of the President Jovenel Moïse, chanted hostile remarks to the ruling power, shooting in the air and sowing panic in the population.

In addition, angry protesters threw stones at the premises of the Departmental Delegation of Artibonite they tried to burn...

Remember that mid-September heavily armed individuals attacked the residence of Me Ariol Cinéus, magistrate at the Court of Appeal of Gonaïves. His son Ariol Junior Cinéus was wounded by three bullets during this attack...
