Haiti - Politic : Edwing Charles focuses on youth entrepreneurship

Until 12 October 2019 in Tabarre, as part of the Creativity for Employment and Business Opportunity program (CEBO), the Ministry of Youth through its Youth and Integration Department, organizes a training program for 7 days in entrepreneurship in collaboration with CARICOM.

Edwing Charles, the Minister of Youth intends by this training, to equip young people to help them to afford a better quality of life by creating opportunities, by participating in the creation of wealth and by contributing to the development of their community.

Recall that during the first stage of the training, 15 young people were trained by CARICOM experts https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28813-haiti-politic-launch-of-the-selection-process-of-young-entrepreneurship-trainers.html . These young people are currently training 30 other young people from different youth associations in the country.

The Directorate of Youth and Integration emphasizes that these trainers will be registered in its database and is committed to using them to train and promote the economic integration of other young people in the 10 departments of the national territory.

Minister Charles focuses on entrepreneurship to change the living conditions of young people in particular and the general population, believing that it is an effective way to fight unemployment and reduce frustrations that lead to behavior harmful to society.

Charles reminded participants that they have a mission to their community and their country : they must first afford financial autonomy and participate in the process of creating jobs and wealth by solving problems by selling products and services to reduce poverty while respecting the law.
