Haiti - FLASH : Earthquake in the Northwest 07/11/2019 05:41:24
On Tuesday at 10:20 and 56 seconds PM, an earthquake with an intensity of 3.6 on the Richter scale was recorded near Jean-Rabel (North-West).
The epicenter was located at 19,900 latitude and -73,149 longitude, at a depth of 15 kilometers, 8 kilometers north-east of Jean-Rabel, 39 kilometers north-east of Port-de-Paix and 170 kilometers north-west of Port-au-Prince.
So far, no significant damage has been reported.

Note that Haiti is located in the middle of a vast system of geological faults resulting from the movement of tectonic plates of the Caribbean and North America, which is why the country is subject to frequent seismic shocks.
