Haiti - FLASH : Group rapes of women detained at the Gonaïves prison 12/11/2019 11:13:11
After forcing the doors of the women's cells, the detainees engaged in a wild gang rape on 13 defenseless prisoners and no possibility of escaping from the hands of these predators... Louisette Vertilus, the coordinator of a women's platform for the development of Artibonite, strongly denounced this gang rape and appealed for help so that these victims, who were temporarily transferred to the parish of Saint-Marc, can be promptly cared for to prevent certain Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) and to have these inmates taken to hospital as soon as possible for examination.
