To this end, the Head of State has initiated a series of meetings with vital sectors of national life around the socio-political crisis and initiatives that can help a peaceful resolution of the situation, at a time when the Haitian people who faces the worst difficulties, awaits concrete actions and signals of hope that would announce the effective recovery of the country.

During these exchanges, the actors consulted insisted on the need for a political agreement allowing the establishment of a Government of National Unity in charge of leading the necessary reforms and facing the current challenges.
