Haiti - Politic : Jovenel Moïse reiterates his desire to replace the system in place
Recognizing that the change expected by the population will not be easy to achieve, as the system is powerful, he invited all the forces of the country to join forces to accelerate the process of transformation of the society and put an end to discrimination and social exclusion. The Head of State insisted that in no case he could be the guardian of such a system that tries to regenerate by passing the victims for the tormentors.
He also took the opportunity to ask young people to stand out from those who intend to manipulate them to seize power by indirect means. He called for the collaboration of all the organized structures of the Haitian society to definitively eradicate this system generating crisis, misery, exploitation and discrimination.
He continued by point out that the reforms, among others, in the energy system, the public administration to create a modern State that offers more service to the population, must continue.
The Head of State also advocated for a better integration of the diaspora in the activities of the country emphasizing that compatriots from abroad represent quality human resources that can participate actively and effectively in the revival of the country.
Moïse also reported that law enforcement agencies are stepping up their efforts to restore order and security in the country, in order to free the population from the gang atrocities that hold them hostage in many parts of the country.
While asking the Minister of Justice to inform the population on the progress of the La Saline massacre, the President expressed his determination to continue his fight to end impunity and instability in the country.
