The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) has just revised its forecast of growth. For Haiti, contrary to forecasts of 01% of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and -06 to 0% of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH), economists of CEPAL believe that the growth of the Haitian economy for 2019 is expected to reach 0.5%.
Taiwan : Haitian Gourmet Week
As a follow-up to the Taiwan International Tea, Coffee and Wine Show held November 15-18, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29272-haiti-economy-a-haitian-delegation-of-businessmen-in-taiwan.html , the Embassy of Haiti in Taiwan organized at Shangri-la, Far Eastem Plaza, a gastronomic week "Taste of Haiti" to allow Taiwanese to discover and savor Haitian culinary diversity. For this gastronomic event the renowned Haitian Chef Jean Sambour was chosen to introduce Haitian cuisine to Taiwan.
The Haitian humorist Fritz Junior Odné nominated
Fritz Junior Odné, actor, author, actor, musician and comedian is one of the ten comedians nominated for the 5th annual RFI Talent of the Year Award 2019. The winner will receive his prize in Abidjan as part of the Abidjan Capital of Laughter Festival (December 5 to 8).

3rd anniversary of the organization STOP-accidents
As part of its 3rd anniversary the Haitian Organization Technical and Operational Services for Accident (STOP-accidents) launches an awareness campaign on road safety and invites the general public to take part in a series of activities that it organizes between 20 November and 20 December 2019 to continue to raise awareness of the Haitian population on road safety.
