Jean Roudy Aly Minister of Justice and Public Security, denounces and strongly condemns the premeditated assassination of Inspector General Michael Lucius, former Central Director of the Judicial Police, on the evening of this Sunday, December 1, 2019 not far from home to Vivy Mitchell https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29414-haiti-news-zapping.html and the armed assaults on two officers of the Intervention and Law Enforcement Unit (CIMO), wounded by bullets in Arcahaie, while they removed barricades blocking the national road #1

The Minister Aly informs that his Ministry will make every effort through the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince so that the guilty parties and their accomplices are identified and brought before the courts, it will be the same to stalk relentlessly and to find the armed individuals who attacked Saturday evening in Mariani in the Gressier Commune (West Dept.) in Gressier, to young people who were peacefully celebrating, killing three and wounding two.

The Minister emphasizes that the Haitian National Police and the police personnel of all ranks do the essential to accomplish their mission to protect and serve even paying the high price of their lives.

Jean Roudy Aly took the opportunity to present his solidarity and sympathy with the PNH, including colleagues, parents and family of Inspector General Michael Lucius, injured police in Arcahaie and those of the victims of Gressier.
