Early in the morning on Sunday, December 15, on the instruction of the Director General ai of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), Commander Rameau Normil, a large operation was carried out in neighborhoods of the metropolitan area : La Saline and de Wharf Jérémie which led to the arrest of 38 people.

The 38 people arrested were taken to the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) for questioning and necessary follow-up.

During this operation, which followed Normil's instructions to restore peace in the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince, armies, magazines, cartridges, grenade were seized.
