Thursday, Jean Roudy Aly, the Minister of Justice, Normil Rameau, the acting Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), and his team, met the delegation of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) on mission in Haiti, at the invitation of the Government to ensure respect for human rights

On the agenda of the meeting it was question, inter alia, of complaints relating to allegations of excessive use of force during the demonstrations; State actions in response to the La Saline massacre and the persecution of human rights defenders.

Recall that the IACHR began its mission last Tuesday with the aim of carrying out inspections and holding meetings with civil society, the Government and international organizations to monitor the human rights situation in the country and promote actions of cooperation.
