Message from former Prime Minister Céant "At a difficult crossroads in our life as a people, I did not hesitate to serve my country. I said yes by agreeing therefore to subscribe to all the sacrifices : professional, family, social and so on. Even today, Haiti waits for its true daughters and sons to reveal themselves with dedication and selflessness to contribute to its recovery. Memories, I still have good ones and the best have nourished me with maturity, discernment, wisdom and much more love. Beyond all suffering endured, beyond the difficulties and misunderstandings encountered, even beyond the blindness of some; I can only recall a truth which is mine : we will not go anywhere without the clear conscience that we must together build this common trunk where to hang our plots of love for the country, of civic responsibility, of humanism, of greatness and overtaking of the ground. Let's seek and find the way of Peace, of union, of justice and of living together. 2020 should be the year of reason and of the resurrection of the national soul, translated into an ode to development and progress to the scope of the dream of our founding fathers and the dimension of the expectations of the Haitian people. We must all transcend and find ourselves hand in hand in spite of differences and difference of opinion. Our country Haiti deserves it. Peace and love for 2020 are my wishes for each and every one of us sisters and brothers of the homeland. May the new year 2020 open our hearts and our minds to the sublime duty of love and sharing."
