Haiti - Politic : ULCC ultimatum for asset declarations
The Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) recalls that more than 300 asset declaration forms have been requested from the Central Office of the ULCC and also from the Departmental Directorates by Parliamentarians and Mayors among others and that only 80 officials of the State concerned by this declaration submitted their asset declaration during the month of December 2019.
Claudy Gassant, the Director General of ULCC invites all the other persons concerned by the declaration of assets and who have not yet completed this legal formality to do it, recalling that the ULCC has granted a new and final deadline for doing this declaration "We grant the deadline of January 31, 2020 for parliamentarians, ministers, Prime Minister, judges, government commissioners, public accountants, the President, mayors, police offciers to produce their declaration of assets", warning that after this period, the law provides for measures against offenders.
