More electricity for Jacmel

On January 12, a new 1.8 MW group is put into operation at the Jacmel thermal power plant. The installed capacity increased from 4.6 to 6.4 MW. Customers have to pay their bills to contribute to service continuity.

Fire at Hyppolite market

Installations and changes at the ONA

Ms. Enide Alabré was installed at the head of the Social Security Department, thus ending the interim provided by Mr. Pierre Thermezy in this position. She previously held the position of Annex Director of Sonapi where she was replaced by her assistant, Mme Dieunite Amazan St Louis. In addition Jean Garry Greffin was installed at the Direction of the Annex of Pétion-Ville.

Registration for the Bac

The registrations for the 1st session of the permanent bac of the 2019-2020 academic year were delegated this Monday, January 13 to end on the 24th. Interested parties must contact the DDEs in their region to identify the places of registration of candidates.

Assessment of the National Ambulance Center

For the month of December 2019, the National Ambulance Center (CAN) responded to: 423 obstetric emergencies; 228 road accidents; 180 chronic diseases (cardiopathies, AVP, Cancer, Diabetes, respiratory, renal affections etc...); 80 trauma (injuries & fractures of varying degrees). CAN also made 83 transfers (referral and laboratory examinations) and intervened in 7 cases of burns, 14 gunshot wounds and 256 other cases.
